This Spray Polyurethane Roofing System we applied to three commercial roofing projects in Omaha, Nebraska. These projects included the New Victorian Inn, American Feed Farm, and the Arctic Glacier. They involved assessing and preparing the roof beforehand and measuring and dispensing the spray foam to create a protective barrier. We will talk about these three projects in greater detail below.

New Victorian Inn

Located in Omaha, Nebraska, the roof of the New Victorian Inn had received hail damage. We were called out to do a roof inspection by their insurance company. We decided our Spray Foam and Roof Coating products made by Conklin were the perfect solution to this problem. We often deal with storm damage and insurance claims, so agreeing with the insurance adjuster was not a problem.

After receiving the job, we began to eliminate the old layer of foam to see what was left beneath it. Next, we dispensed a new foam layer about 1 ½ - 2 inches. This process allowed us to get a good taper headed in the direction of the roof drains. When we finished dispensing the foam, we also put the roof coatings on for extra protection. The roof coatings consist of a base coat, then a topcoat using the Conklin Benchmark Roof Coating product.

American Feed Farm

The American Feed Farm commercial roofing project was another product of an insurance claim resulting from storm damage. In this project, the roof already had roof coatings applied by NENES, Inc. Roofing from the year before. In addition, we saw that it was time to go ahead and upgrade the roof insulation.

The building owner requested that our company use spray foam on the inside of the building’s roof since this would increase its R-Value. In addition, we used a Urethane coating supplied by a well-known company, Aldo. We put this Urethane coating over the spray foam we added to the roof of the building—this project consisted of a metal roof restoration and a spray foam roofing project.

Arctic Glacier

The Arctic Glacier project was unique in that we started with a bare, metal roof. In other words, it had never had any spray foam applied or any roof coatings. After our free roof inspection, the building owner wanted to use our Spray Foam Roofing solution. We used a product from the 838 company, a Spray Polyurethane Foam. In addition, we used 838 roof coatings to apply a base and topcoat to the metal roof.
