McMill Building, a historic landmark in downtown Norfolk, Nebraska, served as a courthouse, as a correctional facility, and as a post office. The building is now home to an accounting firm. This roofing project had a flat roof that came off the backside of the building. The roof was over the storage warehouse and loading dock area. The existing roof was a tar and gravel built-up roof. We removed as much gravel and tar as we could to get down to the existing deck. We started the spray foam process and we had to build it up in certain areas to taper the water away from the building and draining into the parking lot. Then we put down a base coat of roof coating and finally a topcoat spray over the entire roof system.
